Intern/Fellowships
Successful Nick Begich Scholarship Intern Fund intern/Fellowship candidates have demonstrated
an interest in creating change in a chosen area of interest.
Intern/fellows are provided a six month, $12,500 stipend and
some expenses to conduct work and/or research in a field identified
in their application and approved by the board. Past recipients
have worked on youth development, tax policy, interned in government
or non-profit offices in locations throughout the country.
Applications are drawn from throughout the state. Applicants must
be Alaskan residents over the age of 21.
